The 2008 Edinburgh Festival will not feature T on the Fringe, with the music strand which has run for eight years being brought to an end.
It is thought there will continue to be a similar event in it’s place, with DF Concerts’ Dave Corbet telling the Daily Record: "We are excited about taking the music strand of the Edinburgh festival forward in 2008 under a new name.”
Artists to play in recent years have included Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Razorlight, Interpol and Seasick Steve.
The dates for the 2008 Edinburgh Festival are August 3-25.
