London festival Field Day has announced its first acts, which include Foals and Simian Mobile Disco.

Recent Mercury Music Prize nominated artist Fionn Regan will also head to Victoria Park to the East of London, as will Of Montreal, Richie Hawtin (Minus, Berlin) with visuals by Ali Demirel, Mystery Jets, Lightspeed Champion, White Lies, Huw Stephens, King Creosote, Dirty Projectors, Tunng, Eat Your Own Ears DJs, Brodinski, Jeffrey Lewis, Crookers, Dan Deacon, Magistrates, The Notwist, James Holden, Emperor Machine, The Field, One Little Plane, Filthy Dukes, and Bloggers Delight with many more names still to be added.

Field Day happens on Saturday August 9, and sees a number of London live music promoters and club nights come together to create this one day festival, that also featured traditional village fate activities such as welly throwing, Morris Dancing and a tug of war.

Tickets are on sale now, costing £25.
