Scouting For Girls have regrettably had to postpone a handful of shows on their current sold-out UK tour with Go:Audio and Clocks, due to vocalist Roy Stride developing laryngitis.
The band's shows at Birmingham Academy, Reading Hexagon and 3 nights at Shepherds’ Bush Empire this week have all been postponed, but they expect to continue with the tour on Sunday at Bristol Academy 1 (April 6).
Vocalist Roy Stride wrote on the band's MySpace site: "I cannot physically speak. My mouth moves but nothing comes out. It is the weirdest, scariest feeling in the world, and has never happened to me before.
"It will be ok for Bristol next Sunday, but it means we will have to reschedule
Birmingham, Reading and all 3 London dates.
"I want to apologise to everyone for the short notice of the Birmingham gig (Sunday) cancellation. If there was anything I could have done, I would have done it."
All postponed dates are currently being rescheduled and will be announced shortly.
