Corby Bruisers RAGING SPEEDHORN have cancelled their scheduled UK dates for April and have revealed that their next UK tour will be their last. Guitarist Gareth Smith
explains:

"We decided that 2008 will be the last year as a band for Raging Speedhorn. After our touring is done this year there will be no more. We've been together 10 years and we all feel we've achieved just about everything we aimed for as a band. We've toured the world for 10 years, put out 4 albums we're very proud of made many, many lifelong friends. Now it feels like it's time to move on and create something new. Our last record feels like a very apt way to sign off, we don't feel we could take Speedhorn any further than that record. It's our proudest work and we're happy to leave things at that."

The decision to cancel the April dates came as the band say they wanted to make sure their last tour would be the best it could be:

"We decided to cancel the tour since we couldn't get everything together in time as far as the package for it and the confirmation of shows. Everything was left a bit late and with this being our final year as band we didn't want to do anything half assed. We'll be doing one final tour of the UK in October instead, when we'll hoping to go out with a bang!"

The final, October dates will be announced soon.
