It looks like we’re set for an actual proper summer weekend, so what better way to spend it than in a field at one of the UK’s most unique festivals.

Tickets are still available for The Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire, and cost £125 for the weekend.

The line up is not to be sniffed at, although as you’ll find out as you read on, this is one of those festivals where the line “more than just about music” is brought out into the sunshine. Grace Jonesheadlines, with one of R13’s bands to look out for this summer Cage The Elephant set to be another must see of the festival.

Another R13 favourite The Whip are on the line up, as is one time artist of the week James Yuill.

Sons and Daughters, St Etienne, Glasvegas, Morcheeba, Alphabeat, Florence & The Machine, Infadels, Atomic Hooligan, Kissy Sell Out, Adam Freeland, Noah and the Whale, Charlotte Hatherley, Beans on Toast, Envy and Other Sins, Jay Jay Pistolet, Jeremy Warmsley and Late Of The Pier are just some of the others heading for Cambridgeshire.

The organisers say festivalgoers are to "expect to have the most amazing experience, hear the most diverse music, and take part in wacky pursuits.”

Those attending Secret Garden Party are being encouraged to get creative, be that taking part in a parade or staging their own piece of theatre. In adition you can expect the festival regular of a silent disco, plus the chance to play giant connect 4.

The Gateway will bring eastern philosophy and lifestyles to the individual and collective through music, arts, dance, crafts, discussion and debate. A place of healing, called The Sanctury will be located here, providing therapy, treatments and relaxation.

DJs set to appear include Zero 7, X FM heavyweight Eddy Temple Morris and Ali B.
