The MTV Europe Music Awards didn’t exactly throw up much in the way of news from an R13 point of view, however 30 Second to Mars did win two awards.

They beat Linkin Park, Metallica, Paramore and Slipknot to win the Rock Out Award and were named Video Stars for ‘A Beautiful Lie’. Other contenders for that one were Weezer.

Tokio Hotel beat Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Metallica, The Cure for the Headliner Award.
