Random retro news for you, Mr. Big are to reform.

Planet Rock reports that guitarist Paul Gilbert, who has a decent solo career on going, sent a message to a rock radio station in Japan, announcing that the original line up was heading their way.

“Mr. Big is back together, all original members, and we're coming to Japan to play live. So, come check it out, and rock with us. Yeah!”

For those who might care, there’s no news as to whether the band will find their way to the UK.

Paul Gilbert left the band in 1997, with the rest splitting in 2002.

They achieved worldwide hit record owning status in 1991 with the acoustic offering ‘To Be With You’.
