The Hold Steady will be releasing a DVD and live album package, 'A Positive Rage' on 6th April.
‘A Positive Rage’ captures the excitement and high spirits of both the band and their fans in the days surrounding the release of their third full-length, ‘Boys and Girls in America’, and ensuing world tour in 2006 and 2007 and is the band's first ever live album.
The 53 minute documentary begins with the band's first ever live performance in London in 2007 and includes backstage interviews and fan commentary.
The live album features 17 songs and was recorded in October 2007 at Chicago Metro. The tracklisting reads as follows:
