With their fifth studio album, ‘Common Existence’ due for release on the 16th February, Thursday are generously giving us all a little taste of things to come with the streaming of ‘Friends In The Armed Forces’ on their myspace page
Written during the best part of a year, ‘Common Existence’ includes such tracks as ‘As He Climbed The Mountain’ and ‘Resuscitation Of A Dead Man’ as well ‘Friends In The Armed Forces’ and finds the post-hardcore New Jersey band adding touches of new-wave and indie-rock to their mix.
Thursday will be returning to the UK as part of the Give It A Name Festival in April appearing at the following venues:
April 18th 2009 - Manchester Academy
April 19th 2009 - Brixton Academy, London.
