Blood Red Shoes have revealed details of their forthcoming second album.
Following on from their phenomenal debut 'Box Of Secrets', 'Fire Like This' will the band head into a new direction.
Drummer Steven Ansell says of the new album: "We wanted to make a record that's heavier and more adventurous than the first album and ended up with something that feels a lot darker and eerie. It has more complex song structures and intricate guitar parts than before. We really tried to push ourselves as vocalists and not hide behind lots of overdubs, I think because of that it's more personal and more real too."
Fire Like This will be released March 1, 2010 and the band will also play a series of UK dates in support of the album.
March:
02 - Birmingham, 02 Academy 3
03 - Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
04 - Bristol, Thekla
05 - Brighton, Komedia
06 - Leeds, Cockpit
08 - Edinburgh, Electric Circus
09 - Dundee, Doghouse
10 - Glasgow, King Tuts
11 - Newcastle, 02 Academy 2
