My Chemical Romance’s Bob Bryar has quit the band.
The band, who made the official announcement yesterday on their website, explained that drummer Bryar had left the band a month ago.
Guitarist Frank Iero wrote: “As of four weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. It was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best luck in his future endevours, and expect you all to do the same.”
Original drummer Matt Pelissier left the band in 2004.
My Chemical Romance are due to release a new album in 2010.
