Camp Bestival’s annual theme has been confirmed today.
Voted for by forum members of the Camp Bestival website, this year will see the Dorset based event embrace a ‘fairy tale’ theme.
Festival organiser, Rob da Bank has said of the announcement: "People power is our number one message at the Bestivals this year from the bands people keep asking for to the fancy dress theme for Camp Besti being voted for on our forum. Fairy Tales is an ace idea and I can't wait to scare the kids as Rumpelstiltskin da Bank."
Bands confirmed so far for the event include, Friendly Fires, Madness, The Human League, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Calvin Harris, Chipmunk, The Fall, The Cuban Brothers and Pete and the Pirates.
In addition to the plethora of bands already announced, comedians Tim Minchin, Rufus Hound, Carl Donnelly and Craig Campbell have also been added to the bill.
Camp Bestival takes place at Lulworth Castle, Dorset from July 30 â€" August 1, 2010. Tickets for the event are now available.
