As the days are getting shorter, colder and as I write this, a lot wetter, we need a band that will blow all the blues away. Here at R13 we believe we have found the perfect band to fulfil this task in Surrey's punk rockers Hearts Under Fire.

Hearts Under Fire released their EP 'Letters' earlier this year getting plenty of praise and our own James Stant even gave it a cool 11 out of 13, details of how to purchase this limited edition EP are listed below.

Other than the EP, Hearts Under Fire have had a very busy summer including playing Download and Hevy festivals with plenty others in between too. Narrowly missing out on winning the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition, which in this part of R13 towers, we think is a travesty.

Influences:
Group influences include Alkaline Trio & Sum41, but individually our influences include Bruce Springsteen, Brand New, The Kills, Bon Jovi, etc. A nice wide range.

Sounds Like:
A mix of DIY style punk-rock, modern style pop-punk & some other shit too.

Get the country baking, homemade cookies/cakes are the best. Get them dancing, it's good exercise and get them loving, the more love the better...
