Skindred have revealed that their upcoming album will be called, 'Union Black'. The fourth album from the band is currently being recorded at Brit Row Studios with producer James Loughrey (So Solid Crew, Page & Plant) and is due for release on BMG Records in May 2011.
Speaking of the new album singer Benji Webbe said, "This is the first album we have written and recorded in the UK, it's a big departure from our usual sunny California or Florida surroundings – its bloody freezing! The album will be darker and heavier than any of our previous recordings and I've not been this excited whilst writing since I was a kid! 'Union Black' is bringing the darker side of the Dred out for sure!"
Skindred will also be appearing on the sold out Rob Zombie tour in February.
