March is here, which means spring is just around the corner and hopefully it will be bringing some warm weather too.

Our Band of the Month for March are a young quartet from the South East who have quietly been building a big loyal fan base thanks to their no holds barred Rock sound. Ella Grace’s hypnotic vocals are perfectly backed up by Drew, Joss and Ben and together they have produced impressively intelligent tracks that tick all the right boxes.

AVA have not left their creativity on purely making music, they have made some pretty great videos too. Recent single, ‘Murder In The Nth Degree’, which is at the end of this article, is full proof of this. We are expecting a brand new video very soon, so keep your eyes on our video page for that!

Lead singer, Ella, kindly tells us more about this month’s Band of the Month, Avenge Vulture Attack, along with the best Bio answer ever!

Current release and where it's available:
Our new EP “Renew” is being released at the start of April and will be available from all major online retailers or you can come see us at a gig and buy your very own actual copy!

Our last single, Murder in the Nth Degree, is also available for you to listen to and download. (It was even reviewed right here on Room Thirteen.)

Up and coming artists you would recommend:
We've seen so many great bands lately it's hard to narrow it down, but here are a few highlights:
Mean Poppa Lean (amazing live performance)
and Floors and Walls,
O Emperor from Ireland (brilliant songwriting),
Monotonix from Israel (chaos).

Future Plans:
Gigging, writing, recording and a lot of driving in vans. Who knows, we might even find time to sleep and eat!

Tour Dates:
We are currently ‘on the road’ indefinitely so keep an eye on our Facebook Page and Myspace Page for updates of where we are headed next. Hope to see you soon!

If you were the prime minister for one day, what would you do:
It's a tough choice. Either immediately hand over the job to someone who'd be really good at it or a nude photo shoot for Hustler magazine.

If you could go back to any time in history, where would you go and why:
The 60s. It was all about the love - and we have a lot of that to go around. Plus no-one would comment on our dancing.

Our thanks to Avenge Vulture Attack and hope they enjoy their time on the road and look forward to hearing “Renew”.

As promised, here is the video from ‘Murder In The Nth Degree’, which was released at the end of last year.
