Rufus Wainwright is to have a five night residency at the Royal Opera House, July 18th to 23rd, this will be the first event of its kind that the venue has ever hosted, and to coincide with this he releases a 19 disc box set which is out on July 18th on Universal.
The "House of Rufus" box set, a 19-disc collection spanning his entire career will be red velvet encased with a 90 page hardback book containing rare and unseen photos as well as Rufus' early hand-drawn tour posters, handwritten lyrics, four art prints and other memorabilia. The box set contains documentaries, live shows and six studio albums: "Rufus Wainwright", "Poses", "Want One", "Want Two", "Release The Stars" and "All Days Are Nights: Songs for Lulu", all with additional previously unreleased bonus material.
