Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has become a best-selling author. Taylor's debut outing, 'Seven Deadly Sins,' soared into the Sunday Times Bestseller list this weekend at No. 2 on the hardback non-fiction chart.

'Seven Deadly Sins' is Taylor's reflection on the subject and nature of sin, with the singer stating that he didn't want to pen a stock 'autobiography'. He commented, "I've been threatening to write a book for a long time, but since every Tom, Dick and Harry writes an autobiography, I didn't want to just do that. My approach to writing is the same as my approach to music: I don't want to do what everybody else is doing."

Both of his recent UK book events at London's HMV Garage and Birmingham's Institute proved to be greatly successful. Taylor spent used these opportunities to read excerpts from his book, answer questions from the crowd and play an acoustic set for the lucky attendees.
