After a 15 year absence, The Stone Roses have confirmed rumours and will play two homecoming gigs in Manchester, next year.
The band will play two shows at Heaton Park on June 29 and 30 before embarking on an "extensive" world tour.
At a press conference this afternoon (October 18) singer Ian Brown confirmed that his long standing feud with John Squire is over and the group will release a new album soon. When questioned about the length of their forthcoming tour Brown quipped: "We'll ride until the wheels fall off."
During the press conference the band also hinted that festival dates are currently in the process of being worked out.
