The Jeff Magnum curated ATP Festival has been postponed until 2012.
The event, which was due to take place at Butlins in Minehead in December, has been rescheduled to March 9-11.
A statement on ATP's official website says: We're sorry to announce that due to a set of extremely unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, this festival event is being postponed. We understand this will come as a shock and we sincerely apologise that we were not able to inform you before now - please know that we do not take this decision at all lightly. We try to put the community of ATP attendees first in every decision we make and hope that you will understand when we say that if the postponement was in any way avoidable, then we would not be rescheduling."
Organisers assure that ticket holders for the original event will still be valid for new dates and refunds will be made available for those who can't make the festival.
Superchunk, The Olivia Tremor Control, Young Marble Giants, The Magic Band, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Tinariwen and The Apples were originally due to play the festival and organisers are currently working making sure that they all will play the rescheduled dates.
