Elbow For Olympics Coverage

Elbow have been chosen to record the official soundtrack to the BBC's coverage on the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The band, who released their firth album 'Build A Rocket Boys' earlier this year, have already written a six minute track for event which will accompany coverage.

Speaking to the BBC, frontman Guy Garvey commented that recording the track was a "real responsibility".

Elbow have already begun work on the follow-up to 'Build A Rocket Boys', although no release dates have been confirmed at present.
