Superball Music has signed Matt Skiba and the Sekrets to their rosta. The band is the Alkaline Trio front man's new solo venture and also features Jarrod Alexander (drummer with My Chemical Romance) and Hunter Burgan (AFI bassist).

Skiba says of the project:
"Creating a record on my own and deciding who plays and how the songs were structured, it was fun to do. I love working with my band-mates in Alk3 but to make a rock record that was just mine was something that I wanted to do"

The new record "Babylon" will be relesed early this year and is described as "dancy, catchy rock in the vein of Alkaline Trio with elements of 80's post punk".
