Tim Burgess and Mark Collins (The Charlatans Acoustic) and Willy Mason are to headline the regions first Communion Unplugged weekend (formerly called Ouseburn Uplugged)on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th May.

On Friday night along with Mason headlining will be Lucy Rose and Saturday The Charlatans headline with sets from Ren Harvieu and Josh Kumra. Tim Burgess will also be giving a reading of extracts from his recently released memoirs.

"This year the setting is in a fabulous disused warehouse on the banks of the Tyne, which really excited us", comments North East gig promoter Steve Davis. "Local artists will also get their chance to shine with the likes of Hartlepool hero's; The Jar Family, Ajimal, Natasha Haws, The Lake Poets, The Soviets, Motion Tourist and Amy Holford - all will be featuring alongside their idols"
