"Antigama is a fusion of ideas of four guys with completely different characters" who make music that is "Powerful, technically advanced and twisted in arrangement with an old school feeling", oh and they're Polish. R13's recent interview with Sebastian should help you learn more.

R13: How far round the world has your music reached so far?
S: We've existed for 5 years, issued some albums with 3 full-length ones among them. We're no longer considered a local band. People are really interested in our music.

R13: How has the new album been received?
S: So far the reviews have all been very good. It's not been long since our latest album came out so I can't tell you anything about people's reactions towards it yet.

R13: How would you describe your music to somebody who is yet to hear it?
S: Powerful, technically advanced and twisted in arrangement with an old school feeling.

R13: Is creating music a team effort or do certain members of the band take the lead?
S: We make music together but mostly it starts from me and the drummer meeting, jamming and creating things that evolve into something serious when the bass and vocals are added later. Then we work on the final shape of the piece.

R13: When will people in the UK get the chance to catch you lot live?
S:I don't know. I hope it will be possible soon. If we get invited to perform we could do it for sure.

R13: What can people expect from your live shows?
S: Total brutal fast noise with eerie vocals. Apart from that we're not looking trendy at all.

R13: If you could create your dream festival line up to play alongside, who would be on it and where would it be?
S: It would take place in Italy, in Colosseum. The stars would be Goblin and Dario Argento with his movies on a big screen.

R13: What are the best and worst things about being on tour?
S: The distances are the worst thing but the gigs are the best. When we start to play, all the tiredness and hundreds of kilometers are gone in seconds.

R13: What is the music scene like where you come from and how has this helped you develop as a band?
S: The music scene in Warsaw is full of different bands. I don't know most of them because I'm not into that. We've all played in other bands like Sparagmos, Damnable, Starzy Singers or Different State. Antigama is a fusion of ideas of four guys with completely different characters. This is inspiring for the band, as well as for me.

R13: What other acts from Poland do you think we should be watching out for?
S: Third Degree, Nyia, Herman Rarebell

R13: Do you think the extreme music scene is in a healthy state right now?
S: It's in its usual state: there are good and bad bands, good and bad labels etc. The times are changing but the quality is valued as ever.

R13: What bands made you want to make music?
S: Kiss, Napalm Death, Venom, Discharge, Repulsion, Terrorizer, Siekiera

R13: What do you hope to achieve in the next few years?
S: All we'd like to achieve is playing some bigger or smaller gigs, maintaining our level and issuing some more CDs. We don't have sophisticated needs because we price joy and satisfaction the most. We are interested in evolving even further through making music together.

R13: If you could choose anyone to work with who would it be?
S: Goblin.

R13: Thank you for your time and good luck with it all.
S: Big thanks for the intie. Anyone interested can check the following for more info:
