The new year is here for sure, the Christmas rush is over and its time to get back to the thing that matters - the music scene.
2003 was a good year, nu-metal had a rebirth, the term nu-goth was formed and we even had a nu-festival in the form of Download.
There are many rumours floating as to this year's Download festival and these vary from Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, A Perfect Circle and AC/DC - all of this on a two site festival taking place in Glasgow on the weekend of June 2nd and Donnington the following week.
Just because of Download - don't forget about the other big ones. On tour this year, already anounced, are The White Stripes, A Perfect Circle and The Offspring as well as other favourites like Placebo. We'll be taking you through all of these keeping your finger on the pulse for the UK's scene.
Glasonbury 2004 will host some of the biggest names in the world of rock and favourites such as The Darkness (who are confirmed as playing T in the Park 2004) are pegged to be playing the UK's festival scene.
Here's to a good 2004.
