R13: What's the best about being in Robots In Disguise?
Sue:Travelling around the world playing live to people who want it!

R13: Where did the band name come from and what's your favourite kind of robot?
Sue:From writing a song called Transformer then constantly singing the RID jingle and going "That's a great name for a band!". Fave robot is one that makes me tea and brings it to me J

R13: How did the appearance on The Mighty Boosh come about?
Sue:We knew the boys and guested on one of their legendary live nights at Hen & Chickens in London.

R13: If you were to make another TV appearance, what show would you choose?
Sue:Talking about any health issue on GMTV.

R13: There are very few girls producing electro music, what led you to develop your unique style?
Sue:Time. We started off folk-electronic and then gradually added guitars for more noise.

R13: What words of wisdom do you have for other girls wanting to play music?
Sue:Get started today! Learn some chords on the guitar and try and sing to them. Find some people to play with.

R13: What should fans expect from your live show?
Sue:A lot of energy! Bright colours. Party.

R13: Are you always as flamboyant in real life as onstage?
Sue:You should see us in the van knitting.

R13: What do you do to chill between live shows?
Sue:Knit. Play poker. Buy ionic toothbrushes.

R13: Your music is often described as being too fun to take seriously, what would you say to make people pay attention?
Sue:Never heard that said. But our upbeat attitude is probably not fashionable. We're ahead of our time.

R13: What are your hopes for 2008?
Sue:To play the album to audiences everywhere and successfully complete our RID recruitment drive.

R13: Thanks for your time and good luck with the tour and new album!
Sue:Merci.
