Immortal have started the new year by announcing that they are going back in to the studio this month to begin working on their ninth studio album! Whilst a release date hasn't yet been announced, the band have already been able to confirm the track-listing as below:

With the band entering the studio this month the above will be subject to change of course, but they do sound pretty set and ready to really get the ball rolling. Commenting on the release they stated, "The songs have been ready for some time, but we wanted to record it at the right place and time. We will once again work with Peter Tagtgren at Abyss Studio, who has produced our last four albums. The band will enter the studio during wintertime to ensure we have the right atmosphere. We look forward to recording and presenting the new album to the IMMORTAL hordes sometime in 2017."
