Reading & Leeds Festival have kicked off 2017 with a bang, announcing a second wave of acts including their second headliner. It has been announced that Kasabian will join fellow British rockers Muse in headlining the event this August. Commenting on their addition to the bill, the band commented: "It's been five years, and as a band we have come a long way since then. We're looking forward to playing tunes from the new record and bringing the mosh pit to Reading & Leeds Festival!".

Alongside the second headliner announcement, the following acts have also been added to the bill:

Korn
Two Door Cinema Club
Flume
Fatboy Slim
Jimmy Eat World
Circa Waves
Rat Boy
Wiley
The Amity Affliction

Korn were added in a small bonus announcement shortly after the rest of the bands above. It will remarkably be the first time the band have ever played the festival in what is set to be a monumental occasion for sure.

Another band added on the heavier side, Joel Birch of The Amity Affliction unveiled their excitement on being added: "I can't actually believe we're going to be playing Reading and Leeds. What a wild dream we're living in. After seeing insane photos of these festivals for my entire adult life and wishing I could just go as an attending music lover, it's going to be an extremely special experience for me personally to be standing on those stages.
