The Paddingtons are releasing their debut album on the 26th September. 'First Comes First' is an album packed with pop-punk songs. The album was recorded in just 2 weeks in a studio located near Hastings.
'First Comes First' contains no duff tracks. There's full throttle punk by way of 'Some Old Girl', 'Worse For Wear' and 'Tommy's Disease', and upbeat skank in the form of 'Alright In The Morning'.
The band have also been taken under the wing of several celebrities including Pete Doherty and Kate Moss, Gary Libertine, Jamie from The Kills, Mick Jagger... the list goes on- but even The Pet Shop Boys are taking an interest in the band!
Quite clearly, this is a band that are not just another punk band dressed up as something better. The Paddingtons should be taken note of- especially in the months after their debut is released.
