Fresh from a world tour and recent acclaimed album Silent Nation, Chris Slade (The Firm, AC/DC) has left classic band ASIA on good terms. Choosing new drummer Jay Schellen was an easy decision to make according to frontman John Payne saying; "Jay was always our first choice as a replacement drummer for Asia, He played on the demos for Some of the Silent Nation tracks and we just clicked right from the start!"
ASIA have also entered the studio this very day to start recording "Architect of Time" due out in 2006, which is the follow up to 2004's well received "Silent Nation"
