Muse have posted a special Christmas message to fans on their official website, giving details of their immediate future plans.
The band hope to release their new album in spring 2006. The follow-up to 'Absolution' will be followed by a tour.
They said:
"Thanks for the amazing support over the last year. We are really looking forward to the next one, with a new album and tour expected in spring. Have a great time where ever you are."
