Having toured their balls off promoting the rock half of 'In Your Honour', the Foo Fighters are now preparing to hit the road for some acoustic shows.

According to MTV News, dates are yet to be confirmed for the tour, however some extra names have been added to the party.

The band will be heading out on the road with violinist Petra Haden (Beck), pianist Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers) and percussionist Drew Hester. Haden and Jaffee guest on 'In your Honor', while Hester has been busy producing Foo's drummer Hawkins' new side project Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders.

The band are set to release their next single 'No Way Back' on March 13.

As soon as we have some news of dates for the acoustic tour we'll let you know, it certainly promises to be an unmissable run of gigs.
