3 big British hitters make Bangkok Rock!
Ian Brown joins Oasis on stage as they headlined the Thai event. Sadly this wasn't for a duet but he did introduce them back on stage for their encore during the bands headline set at the Bangkok 100 Rock Festival, which was typically packed with many a classic song.
Brown had earlier wowed the crowd with his grasp of the Thai language and his non-stop energy and crowd pleasing.
In between King Monkey and Oasis were Franz Ferdinand, who performed a blistering set which had the crowd jumping and singing with glee.
According to Room Thirteen's Andrew Reilly in Thailand, it was strange hearing lyrics which mention a Glasgow branch of Tesco's being sung so far from home, but the Scottish boys seem to have been on top form with the locals lapping it up.
You can read more of his thoughts on the festival just as soon as we can drag him back from the sunshine.
