The headliners have been announced for this year's Carling Weekend.

The event takes place over the weekend of Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August at it's usual venues in Reading and Leeds.

The first names are: Franz Ferdinand, Muse and Pearl Jam.

Many more acts will be announced at the same time as tickets become available. Rumours include Feeder, Arctic Monkeys, Boy Kill Boy, Flaming Lips and Audioslave.
