If you haven't been able to get a ticket for either Reading or Leeds this year, you will still be able to catch some of the action from the comfort of your living room.

The event will be shown live on BBC Three from 7pm each evening over the August Bank Holiday, with the main bands and highlights from Reading being shown on BBC2 each night.

The coverage will also have interactive elements, with digital viewers able to press the red button to see a choice of different performances.

As well as the TV coverage, as ever Radio 1 will be on site, making this weekend much like what we've come to expect from Glastonbury.

Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festivals at Mean Fiddler said "I could not be happier. I have worked alongside BBC TV for the last four years at Glastonbury
and seen the extraordinary coverage achieved there and I am delighted that the best music festivals in the world are now to be screened by the best TV broadcaster in the world."
