Room Thirteen favourites Breed 77 have followed up their status as the number 1 played band in German rock clubs with a similar Triumph in the USA.
The band's track 'Alive' has gone to number 1 in the request chart on X 103.9 in California.
X 103.9 program director, Byron Cooke explains the significance of such an achievement: "This is unheard of - Breed 77 are an unsigned act in the US and 'Alive' is hotter on the phones than Incubus, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers or My Chemical Romance! We originally picked this track up on import but it has just taken off on air, the phone lines are HOT and the listeners just love this record !"
