Morrissey is reportedly considering the idea of writing a song for Europe.
He first expressed an interest in taking part after Daz Sampson's song, 'Teenage Life' came fifth from last in the 2006 contest.
Although nothing has been agreed yet, the BBC has approached Morrissey to write and maybe perform the 2007 entry.
Finland will host the contest this year after Lordi triumphed in 2006.
Morrissey isn't the only star who rose to fame in the eighties to have been rumoured to be taking part. Sweden were thought to be lining up Europe for their entry although it's all gone rather quiet on that front.
