Evanescence have been confirmed as playing at Download 2007 tonight. It will be their second appearance at the festival.

Also confirmed are Motley Crue, rising stars Gallows, 30 Seconds To Mars and Enter Shikari and rumours of Machine Head playing at the festival have also been confirmed.

Party boys Bowling For Soup are also returning to Download for their 3rd time and vocalist Jeret Reddick said "We couldn't be more excited about our return to Download... the caliber of the bands and the diversity of the music and music fans makes it one of the best weekends ever... not to mention there is free beer if you play and the occasional sandwich, which would be reason enough to play, even if they didn't pay us... now all I have to do is try and be sober enough to remember seeing Slayer!"
