Green Day are to release their John Lennon cover 'Working Class Hero' tomorrow (May 1).
The track is being made available as a download as part of a charity campaign to help people suffering in the Darfur region of Africa and comes from an album produced by Amnesty International, entitled 'Instant Karma: The Campaign To Save Darfur'.
The Green Day track can be bought via iTunes, with all publishing rights, as with the rest of the album, being donated to the campaign by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono.
Others to appear on the album which is out at the end of May, are U2, Snow Patrol and Aerosmith.
