Damaged Control have been confirmed as appearing at this year's Bloodstock Open Air.

With a line up to drool over featuring legendary drum powerhouse that is Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame nominated AC/DC Drummer Chris Slade, Quireboys front man Spike, Pete Way the bass from UFO and guitarist and producer extraordinaire Robin George, Damage Control will hit Derbyshire for the UK's only chance to hear tracks from their self-titled debut album.

In other BOA news, tickets for this year's event are shifting faster than ever before. Due to phenomenal demand the organisers have taken the unprecedented decision to limit the amount of attendees to the Derbyshire based Festival. The announcement of high profile metal acts such as In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy and Testament has sent demand through the roof.

Band Booker Victoria Gregory saiys: "We have never experienced anything like this in all the years we have been organising Festivals. The quality of the main stage bands and the extended period has contributed to Bloodstock already reaching over 50% of our target figure. At this rate we anticipate selling out before too long."

Bloodstock Open Air returns to Catton Hall, Walton On Trent in Derbyshire from August 16 to 18. To ensure you don't miss out check their
