Rock musicians Bon Jovi were thrown into turmoil over the weekend when guitarist Richie Sambora checked into rehab, just days before the band's opening show at London's O2 Arena. It has been a tough few years for Richie after splitting from his wife, and losing his father, but the guys supported him, and he pulled through by surrounding himself in his music.
Richie's alcohol problem was noticed when he seemed so dazed in an MTV gig, that band were forced to turn down his microphone. While the rest of Bon Jovi are rehearsing for their upcoming UK gigs, Richie is in an LA clinic seeking advice to help with alcohol addiction. The band has yet to announce whether the gig at the O2 arena, formally the Millennium Dome, will go ahead on June 24th. I'm sure Richie will stop at nothing to get back to where he feels most comfortable, on stage.
Bon Jovi have sold millions of albums all over the world. They have played sold out arena after sold out arena. With the release of the new album, and the tour about to kick off, these guys, including Richie, will be back on top in no time.
