More than 27,000 PETA members have spoken and voted Davey Havok of AFI as World's Sexist Vegetarian 2007, narrowly beating Antony Kiedis, Andy Hurley of Fallout Boy, Jared Leto and Tobey Maguire.
Havok says:
"I certainly would encourage anyone to explore a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle .... I think we must begin with the betterment of humanity which would then naturally result in compassion for animals."
