Those madcap alternative rockers, The Crimea have parted company with guitarist Andy Norton, who has flown the proverbial to pursue his musical career elsewhere. This is with much support from the band I might add!

The band are quick to say that this is not the end of the band, as they head off to Beijing this weekend to play the POP festival as well as a couple of other gigs, before returning back to Blighty, with details of their new 'Red October' acoustic tour to follow soon.

Lead singer, the charismatic, Davy Macmanus will be doing an acoustic set at Kentish town fete, before the band do a full electric show in Brighton.

The band have also reached 60,000 downloads of their album from their website, which is a mean feat in itself. Soon they release another single from their second album, the great 'Secrets Of The Witching Hour'.

Full, easy to read details of their gigs are as follows:

5, Mao Live House Beijing
7, 2 Kolegas Beijing

15, Kentish Town Fete, The Abbey, London
