The line up for the SWN festival in Cardiff has been announced.

Curated by Radio 1 new music DJ Huw Stevens, the event runs across multiple venues between November 9-11.

The Radio 1 man said of the weekend: "The thrill of going from venue to venue to see different bands and DJs is unique, and Cardiff will be the perfect city to host a festival of this kind.

"The new audiences that bands get and the impact on them and the local economy is a brilliant thing, with the emphasis being on quality and diversity throughout."

Among the bigger names playing are The Cribs, Sons and Daughters, I Was A Cub Scout, Edwin Collins and Cherry Ghost.

Tickets are on sale now, and will set you back the sum of £38, which includes booking fee and recorded delivery postage.

Then, in a Camden Crawl/Great Escape styley, your ticket will, as if by magic, become a wristband that not only gets you into every venue and gives priority over those who haven't bought ahead and are trying their luck on the day, but also discounted bus travel around the city, and, wait for it, money off in certain retailers!
