Thin Lizzy and Queensryche recently added a mystery third band to their upcoming tour bill, for three nights only. Gigs at the Leicester De Montfort Hall (22nd November), Cambridge Corn Exchange (23rd), and Ipswich Regent (24th), will be opened by a band called Stone Gods. It is believed that Stone Gods is The Darkness' latest incarnation, which would make this their first public gigs since the departure of lead singer and guitarist Justin Hawkins. However, this has not been officially confirmed as yet. The current line-up features Richie Edwards (vocals/guitar), Dan Hawkins (guitar), Toby MacFarlaine (bass), and Ed Graham (drums). Nothing has been heard from ex-frontman Justin since his bizarre British Whale and Eurovision side-projects, but it is now believed that the split with his former band is permanent.
