Axl Rose Plans album trilogy release: apparently.
Mad-cap aging ginger rocker of the once famous 'most dangerous band on earth' Axl Rose, has apparently told fellow ego-maniac, and former lead-screamer of Skid Row, Sebastian Bach, that he planned to release a trilogy of albums, whereby the third would be released by 2012! Apparently there was no confirmation of one of these being the now infamous 'Chinese Democracy', which has long since held such status as the musical version of the Loch Ness Monster or indeed the Tooth Fairy.
When pushed, Bach, who is known for his motormouth over-excitement, simply suggested that, "...he has like four albums done. All you people who don't think that he's gonna put out a record are sadly mistaken. Axl does what he wants to do, that's the way it is." (quote comes from an interview with Metal Edge)
When encouraged to spill the musical beans on what we are likeley to expect, if at all anything, the hyperactive Canadian said, "the worlds not prepared for what I've heard from this guy. It's got the grandness and epic-ness of 'November Rain' but with the snarl, the attitude of 'Apitite For Destrruction'!"
Sebastion Bach recently opened for Axl Rose and his new line up of Guns'n'Roses on a sold out two legged tour in New Zealand earlier in the year. There appears still to be no evidence of 'Chinese Democracy' ever seeing the light of day, let alone these somewhat over exaggerated plans for four albums. Even the Official G'N'R website appears to read like the author is now bored with the insistant question of the release date, citing an exscuse list that reads like a school boys reasons for not doing his homework, everything including the record label, for lack of promotion for older bands, and their releasing of the 'Greatest Hits' just when the album was due to be released; to band members showing a lack of dedication.
To this day, Axl Rose remains one of life's oddities.
