As expected Radiohead top the album chart tonight (Jan 6) with ‘In Rainbows’.
They outsell Take That, who themselves have seen a big increase in sales after their televised New Year’s Eve show, and X-Factor 2006 winner Leona Lewis who has been at the top since before Christmas.
Possibly thanks to record store sales, albums by Amy Macdonald (6), Scouting For Girls (12), Newton Faulkner (13), Foo Fighters (14) and Kate Nash (17) all return to the top twenty.
The Kaiser Chiefs, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Oasis and Snow Patrol are all doing well lower down the chart.
