Faster Than Sound 2008

Faster Than Sound, a sound experiment merging musical genres and digital art forms will return to the Aldeburgh Festival this year from 27th - 28th June. Events will begin with a late-night performance of Stockhausen's avant-garde classic
Stimmung at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, followed by Faster
Than Light, an eclectic trip through films combining music and image at Aldeburgh Cinema and performances at Bentwaters Airbase. Artists featured in the event include Plaid, Vladislav Delay, Mira
Calix, Quayola, Johann Johannsson, Tim Exile, Hauschka, Stefan
Schneider, Oblique House, Larry Goves, Phillip Neil Martin, Helena
Gough, Emily Hall, Weirdcore, Semiconductor, Sarah Nicolls, Ollie
Coates, Minimaforms, London Voices, Ben Parry, The Brothers Quay and
John Minton.
