Bloc Party fans can get hold of the bands new album ahead of their appearance at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds Festival.

‘Intimacy’ is available as a download from August 21 via
Blocparty.com.

The CD version is out on October 27.

The album, produced by Paul Epworth, ‘Silent Alarm’ and Jacknife Lee, ‘A Weekend in the City’ was recorded in Kent and London. It is described as being "Bloc Party at their most wildly experimental, while other tracks are simply classic Bloc Party, fitting in seamlessly amongst fan-favourites 'Helicopter', 'Banquet' and 'So Here We Are'".
