Paul Weller will release new single 'Thinking of You' on November 15th of this year.
The track is taken from 'Studio 150', his recent album of cover versions, and is a re-working of the disco smash by Sister Sledge - originally penned by Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards.
The single features two new cover versions which don’t appear on 'Studio 150': Don’t Go To Strangers', originally done by Joni Mitchell, and Sony Bono and Jack Nitzche’s 'Needles And Pins', made famous by The Searchers. As well as a CD and a 7", there is also a DVD single which features live footage from the recent invite-only Riverside Studios gig. The DVD single also features the Beta Band remix of Paul’s last single 'Wishing On A Star'.
Paul Weller will be contributing 50p from the sale of each copy of 'Thinking Of You' to the Children In Need campaign this year. He will perform the track in the Children In Need Studios on Friday 12th November.
