Travis Barker was a lucky guy after being released from hospital on Saturday, three weeks after the small jet that he was flying in, crashed down onto a main road in South Carolina.

The accident happened on 29th September 2008, with DJ Adam Goldstein (better known as DJ AM) also narrowly surviving. However, two other passengers, and the two pilots were killed in the crash. Goldstein received two skin graft surgeries to his neck and arm days after, whereas Barker had second and third degree burns and was being treated at a specialist burns unit in Los Angeles.

DJ AM, who is now visually scarred, recently joined Jay-Z at a special concert in celebration of the re-opening of Hollywood Palladium, whereas Travis Barker is expected to make a full recovery within the next few months.
